Problems Patching for Festival Mods

So I saw, thats what I get for replying before reading the whole thread.

As for StrongArm processors I don't know enough about them to really say.
I do know that Speakup has some issues with non-80486+ processors but am
not sure how extensive those are.  I do know that all of our usrdev code
should be fully portable to any system that runs linux, and similarly our
middleware program.  FLite is probably going to be the first synth other
than festival that we use but when that will happen is as yet
undetermined, because it will require some extensive changes and
expansions.

Short version: if you can get speakup working then getting everything
working should be doable without too much work.
