module autoloading in slackware 8.1, was: Re: speakup.i SCSI problems

Question here, if I have an older modle zip drive, do I have to stick
with the ppa.o driver or can I use the new one instead?  I've always
used the ppa for my perposes due to the age of my unit.  Can I use the
imm.o module?
