Why not try an experiment? There's lots of places to put things you want to have happen automatically in linux. The question to answer is do you want it to happen for every account or on initial login or only for specific account? modprobe imm should be the line that also loads lp and then loads itself since it needs lp to work. To do it in a specific account on login put that in .profile. To make it happen every initial login, put it in /etc/rc.d/rc.local. slackware doesn't overwrite that like redhat does. -- Jude <dashielljt(at)gmpexpress-dot-net>
