INteresting, I tried this, and had some strange results, namely that my
cdrom drive would no longer read audio disks properly, that is, that is, a
ripping script that uses cdparanoia and then either lame or oggenc would
say it was ripping track number x, but the whole disk would, apparently,
be finished in 2 seconds and I'd be left with a load of empty files, so I
compile IDE cdrom support into the kernel, idescsi as a module and pass
hdd=idescsi to lilo.
