Hi Geoff. Yes, I've configured 2 sound cards using alsa rc3. It's pretty straight forward. I have an sblive and a sb vibra 16. My Toshiba laptop has an opl3sax that I've never gotten to work properly with alsa. I had to use the cs4231 driver in 5.12a, and give up the rest of the opl3 functionality. Hope this helps. Gene p.s.
