I have debian-2.2r2-speakup.iso In my c:\linux directory. Drive C and D are both 14.2 GB and formated with fdisk from Windows 98 SE. I have the following batch file in the root directory of drive C. cd linux cd dosutils loadlin linux root=/dev/hda1 speakup_synth=decext initrd=images-1.44\root.bin disksize=1.44 How come there is no speech? Have I got the right syntax and file structure? I am trying to install Debian and Speakup to my drive D. I used rawwritewin to create a bootup and rescue disk. I used root.bin and rescue.bin from images-1.44\idepci.
