This is the modem. What to do with it?

There should be a ltmodem package, something ltmodem-6.00b4, or at least,
that's the version I've got.  If your modem still doesn't work, then you
can be fairly certain that it is not supported.  Alternatively, if you
have Windows on that machine, you could run that to find out exactly what
the modem is called, and put it into the database search on linmodems.org
