A while ago, I came across a situation while downloading with lynx. There's a password protected site I need to be able to use to pick up some mp3 files we use for programming on our rrs. It's certainly very texty and seems straightforward via lynx. You enter username and password, and I get in, seeing the files that are there. If I hit enter on the link, or even d to download it, I get the plain and simple message "parameter error", but no idea what parameter. Before I do enter the site, that is, after entering the password, I do get a message saying "url is not absolute", but then it immediately does continue letting me in. I had someone try via internet exploder, and of course they could indeed get the files, but since I have no windows, I don't wanna go that route. I know the folks who do this site, and I'd like to be able to explain to them what parameter needs tweaking. Any ideas?? Thanks. Is there something in lynx options that needs settings??
