Well, this wouldn't be the first thing that windows can't do properly. In fact, that thought did pass through my mind, but I wanted to see what some on this list might say. The machine isn't a laptop, but I thought acpi was a pretty cool feature. Maybe I'll just disable standby, and let it run.
