Hi, I ran into the same problem as Janina when I installed RH 7.2 from ISO's I downloaded at the end of March. I attributed it to my ignorance of speakup or something about the new Dell Inspiron notebook I was trying to install it on. I am partially sighted, so was able to get through the installation. I also encountered a corrupted display on the first screen of the install. I hit a key and that cleared up the display problem... ??? > Date: Thu, 9 May 2002 06:58:58 -1000 (HST) > From: Janina Sajka <janina at afb.net> > To: speakup at braille.uwo.ca > Subject: Re: RH 7.3 install > Reply-To: speakup at braille.uwo.ca > > Hi, Tommy: > > Yes, I did succeed installing, but I also had to deal with the > same two problems you described. > > The cursor thing is a real shame.
