Actually, it's the second line from the bottom. I looked at it again, and what it does is to pass the "-s" option to install. This tells install to strip binaries. Remove the "-s" option and the manual pages will install correctly. I think I'll mention this glitch on the Speak Freely mailing list and see if anybody else has a better solution.
