Hi, I think this person wants to use pine in a "term-mode" buffer. In this case, she-he should use the "term-mode" screen review keys in this buffer. Their prefix is "c-t". See the "using terminal applications" section of the emacspeak info file. You won't get very far using Pine with emacspeak. If you really want pine, use speakup. Or, learn rmail or vm with emacspeak, but beware, you can't easily go back and forth between emacs mail readers and pine because of the different mailbox formats each uses.
