dosemu; com ports; /var/lock

Ok, I restored everything as before as far as the partition permission and
/etc/fstab and rebooted to be sure, then used "chmod  a+rw /var/lock". That
worked. The output of "ls -dl lock" is now
drwxrw-rw- 2 root root" etc.
I relogged in.
Ran dosemu as me wit the debugging option.
Still no com ports; still because you must be suid root.
Having read some other posts on this through google, I really think the problem
is in the dosemu coding and not in my lock permissions now, because they are now
ok.
