Hi gang. I just put together a new computer and the main board on this machine is a biostar 7vkg, at least that is what the manufacturer said when they shipped the system. In short, I got more than I asked for. Originally I was supposed to get a main board with built-in sound, vga, eide. However this main board has all that plus a built-in Ethernet controller and modem. On top of that I got an ide zip drive which I didn't ask for. I don't want to call them to ask because they may find out and I don't want to deal with that. IN any case I did lspci and here is what it says. I'm not sure what driver to compile into a kernel so the Ethernet controller is found. Current I slapped in a Realteck8139 to get access but if I can save a pci slot I'll do it. floyd:/proc# lspci 00:00.0 Host bridge: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 730 Host (rev 02) 00:00.1 IDE interface: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 5513 [IDE] (rev d0) 00:01.0 ISA bridge: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 85C503/5513 00:01.1 Ethernet controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] SiS900 10/100 Ethernet (rev 82) 00:01.2 USB Controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 7001 (rev 07) 00:01.3 USB Controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 7001 (rev 07) 00:01.4 Multimedia audio controller: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] SiS PCI Audio Accelerator (rev 02) 00:01.6 Modem: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS]: Unknown device 7013 (rev a0) 00:02.0 PCI bridge: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS] 5591/5592 AGP 00:0b.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
