I have attempted to install the Sun Java SDK and RTK for linux both from Sun's rpms and from source. In the case of the rpm files I twice downloaded from Sun, I got "read manifest error." In the case of the source, the documentation did not match the actual files I found after extracting. I hope to find out more about this during CSUN.
