Thank you for your points because if I can't get onto DSL here, will just contact ComKrap I'mean Comcast and go for Cable Modem until DSL is a happnin' thing at my house. We have Winblows boxes in the house but if I put the linux box on first and use it as my primary server, then seems I've got most of it covered unless I can't get ComKrap to see my linux box. I'm probably saying a lot in error here because I am rery uninformed about most of this. So appreciate your input as well and it's great that we have such a helpful way to network.
