Hi gang - When I installed this Slackware 7.1 Linux I had to choose whether to use frame buffers and I chose no. Now I am looking at installing X on this system, and the docs for XFree386 3.3.5 seem to insist that frame buffers be implemented. So - my question - if I reconfigure my system to use frame buffers, will speakup still work in text mode? I could try it and find out, but maybe someone can save me the grief.
