Hi Ari: I recommend you start by using the dectalk express or external drivers. They are the only drivers which use xoff/xon handshaking. All of speakups spoken punctuation is done with strings. You'll want to use the period and questionmark to start processing. I would need to know a lot more to be able to make better suggestions.
