sendmail on dsl

I think a number of ISP's are getting that way; they want to control spam.
What I now do is use the Smart_host option in M4 macros for sendmail.  That
will cause sendmail to forward all your mail through the designated relay
host.  This is obviously the outgoing side I'm talking about here.

I'd like to thank everyone for their suggestions.  It turns out that my dsl
isp does not allow any port 25 connections unless they are passing through
their own 
mail servers.  After playing around with things and being able to connect to
smtp on multiple sites when on any connection except my dsl one I called
tech 
support and that is what they told me.
