best ethernet card for linux

Hey gang.

Depending on the performance your looking for you will certainly want
different things.  I would say that any of the good 10/100 cards are
usually tulip based.  the netgear fa310 is a good one.  The fa311 is a new
chip now.  I think it is an intel chip.  

But if you need the best 100tx full duplex networking then the 3com 3c905C
is the best way to go.
