Hi: Well yeah of course there's a point to it. You might not actually want to edit it - you might want to encode it as MP3 or vorbis or something else. Also, CD paranoia allows you to do cool things like only rip a small portion of a track, etc. There are some editors about. Chuck wrote a tool called afix which I never quite figured out how to use, but I must admit that I don't have the most recent version ... should look at that again I guess. Geoff.
