Hi, Tuxtalk is nowhere near a useable state for working with speakup. The cvs version which you can grab and try, simply takes text that you tyupe in to tuxtalk directly and vocalizes it out through your speakers. Kirk's plan has been to modularize it and load it into the kernel. Speakup is not yet ready for modular synth drivers. It's gonna be a while, but don't discount it yet. --terry Name: Terry D.
