Speakup is on regular linux cds you have to get one and then pick up the speakup.i or .s file. Assuming you are going to use ver 8.0 Phil I think provided a link to a nice site for download on this list and the ftp site follows. oftp-linux.cc.gatech.edu -----Original Message----- From: speakup-admin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:speakup-admin at braille.uwo.ca]On Behalf Of dannyboy Sent: Friday, August 24, 2001 11:19 AM To: speakup at braille.uwo.ca Subject: cd rom image files with linux and speakup Hello. My name is Danny. I have been using dos and windows for years. Now I am getting ready to learn linux. Where may I find images of cd roms with linux with speakup? Do I need to just download standard linux cd's and then download a boot floppy with speakup? I have a good connection, and can download images. _______________________________________________ Speakup mailing list Speakup at braille.uwo.ca http://speech.braille.uwo.ca/mailman/listinfo/speakup
