Hi Chuck and all My original setting was "AT&FH0" I changed it to "AT&F1" like you suggested. When I tried to connect, I got "connect script failed." I then changed the init string to AT&F1H1 with the same result as with the original string. No, I don't have a manual for this modem, but I do know that it is haze compatible. Greg
