<HMMM> got 2.42 recently and was thinking about putting that one up. Are there known problems with this kernel and speak (CVS)? I don't generally feel comfortable running around with patches failing when applying them. I'm a bit squeamish about bad or unclean patches. -----Original Message----- From: Gregory Nowak [mailto:romualt@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, April 24, 2001 8:29 AM To: speakup at braille.uwo.ca Subject: Re: patch hunk failed Which kernel are you using? As far as I know, speakup 0.10a will only work with kernel 2.2.18 and up. I do know that some hunks fail under kernel 2.4.2, but speakup still works as it should.
