pdf_sec.ps patch

You find the file with the same name as the patch usually in
/usr/share/gs/ or somewhere and copy the ps file you downloaded
over the top of it.

You might want to back up the gs_encrypt.ps file or whatever it is called. Under
Debian we just install the decryptian package and it does it
for us.

When I run pdf2ps, it tells me that the pdf file is encrypted, and I should download a patch. I got the patch it mentioned. However, when I do 'gs pdf_sec.ps', gs says that it can't open an x display. How do I apply the patch? Is there a better way to read pdf files in linux? Thanks.
