yeah this may sound stupid, but until my dad can scrap together the money he needs, what would make a nice speech emulator? all i have availibel is a dectalk ll pc running on a 386 and a null modem cable on 16450s , 2 pcs running windows. i want to use one of those win boxes as a zipspeak box. what synthasizer can i use that doesn't use handshaking? and that doesn't use control characters if possible. sorry for the extra l's but my l key sticks . i have tried serial terminals buut they weren't my thing . i want to try speakup and see what i can do with it. -88
