Hi. I tried Speakup version 0.09a with Linux version 2.4.0-test1 and an internal doubletalk, and Speakup didn't find my internal doubletalk. My internal Doubletalk works with Speakup 0.09 and Linux version 2.2.16, so I'm guessing it is a bug in Speakup 0.09a. I attached my kernel messages from when I booted 2.4.0-test1 to this message. Thanks. -------------- next part -------------- Linux version 2.4.0-test1 (root at rmnet) (gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)) #2 Mon Jun 19 22:18:58 EDT 2000 BIOS-provided physical RAM map: e820: 000000000009f800 @ 0000000000000000 (usable) e820: 0000000000000800 @ 000000000009f800 (reserved) e820: 0000000000019000 @ 00000000000e7000 (reserved) e820: 0000000003ffd800 @ 0000000000100000 (usable) e820: 0000000000002000 @ 00000000040fd800 (ACPI data) e820: 0000000000000400 @ 00000000040ff800 (ACPI NVS) e820: 0000000001f00400 @ 00000000040ffc00 (usable) e820: 0000000000019000 @ 00000000fffe7000 (reserved) On node 0 totalpages: 24576 zone(0): 4096 pages. zone(1): 20480 pages. zone(2): 0 pages.
