Hi I've got my ALSA problem with 2.4 kernels figured out. Thanks to an earlier posting, I went and checked the archives of alsa-devel. I found the answer, and it's not all that simple if you don't know how to edit a C file. If anyone wants the instructions on what file to change and how to change it, you can send me a private email.
