Hi again, The trouble is that the keytable script is starting and loading the default keymap from /usr/lib/kbd/keymaps/i386/qwerty. The easiest way to fix it is to keep the script from running at boot time. At a root prompt, do: chkconfig --level 2345 keytable off If you haven't grabbed the keymap from the ftp site as Geoff suggested, you might be able to restore review functionality for the current session by doing: service keytable stop I can't see how it would help, looking at the script, but someone has said that it works.
