Hi gang, I posted a similar question to the alsa-user list, but the smart money is on this list for an answer. I have an SB Live card and get the message: snd: card out of range (0-0) after a modprobe snd-card-emu10k1. I initially ignored it, because I was able to get some of the card working. Problem has now come back to bite when I try to use midi. the snd module can't find a sequencer device.
