The second patch is to implement get_mctrl() for Bay Trail platform, which will report DCD and DSR signals as permanently active. The expected behaviour for get_mctrl() is documented in https://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/serial/driver These patches have been tested on Minnowboard MAX.
