No problem, the patch set needs some changes anyway. The list of addresses that get_maintainer.pl spits out for me doesn't even include linux-serial. Is that correct or did I possibly use it incorrectly? It seems unintuitive that USB serial drivers won't be interesting to linux-serial. The original author of the ch341 driver advised me to send any patches to linux-serial as well.
