We are using a Areca 1261ML controller with the 3.12 stock drivers. So not the official Areca ones. From reading the change logs for 3.18 I anticipate that the following fixes are important for stability and might therefore be valid for -stable. arcmsr: fix command timeout under heavy load arcmsr: limit max. number of SCSI command request arcmsr: return status of abort command BTW: The same seems to apply for the lost patch about notify sense data. > Regards, > > Ching
