There is a reason for the delay. 

We have done a code review of what has been proposed and we believe it is incomplete.  We don't think that in its current state it will serve Linux as well as we all want it to.

My team has the ability to address this enhancement fully, but the green light can't come from me alone. Hence, I am working within a time frame of two weeks to get those within LSI that need to be accounted for to be on the same page.

If the b word is not in your business dictionary I have no idea how you get any work done, and I really don't care if you feel offended or not at all.

The real lack of professionalism is that LSI blocks a driver fix for no reason at all.
