only one booting here is knoppix 5.2,
the latest unofficial debian stable 2.6.8-12-amd64-generic, which
says ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:00:06.0[A] -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 17
aic7xxx: PCI0:6:0 MEM region 0x0 unavailable. Cannot memory map device.
but works ok,
a debian etch 2.6.18-4-amd64 which says:
