Since last post I upgraded system to Debian Sid, and tried to set up multipath (static in kernel). This has complicated further the setup and messed up logs: device mapper complains about something and logs some Oops... No surprise I'm not able to mount multipath devs from /dev/mapper/. Since I'm new to multipath probably I'm doing some mistake. I'll see if I can try a -mm kernel tomorrow (I'm home now). Attached: dmesg.1 full dmesg from boot, _before_ issuing command rescan-scsi-bus.sh -l dmesg.2 same after rescanning. rescan.log stdout from rescan, including related syslog messages rescan.err is some error issued by rescan (v 1.18 2005/10/08 23:49:29 garloff) lsscsi.log lsscsi -g after rescanning lsmod after rescanning ps.log: processes after rescanning Thank you, Alberto
