Yes, I realized this was harmless eventually... Have only tested it with 2.6.14.4 and 2.6.14.5 which both gave this message. The kernel-smp-2.6.10-1.771_FC2 kernel we were running previously didn't give this error/warning, because it wasn't yet added to the kernel. But as far as i can recall, the ServeRAID cards are often quite slow at initialization. Unfortunately I woun't be able to test the latest 2.6.15 kernel, as this is on a production system.
