> can Guys suggestion [1] solve your request for packet counters? on QP > and flow verbs objects. Guy's solution was a very generic and relied on driver/HW. It makes it fast. I was aiming for "libibverbs statistics" that is generic in the sense that libibverbs will collect the statistics and won't involve the driver/HW. This can supply information via, e.g., ibv_devinfo, regardless of the driver/HW vendor type, capability or support. I was thinking of adding something like this in 'qedr' but I'm not sure how not to hurt performance and thought maybe all can benefit from it. > and libibprof [2] as preload lib to track verbs API calls and count > and duration. I wasn't familiar with this and will check it out. However, it generates data only if pre-loaded and won't be able to supply debug information after, e.g., a bug. It is good for development and less for a user. > also RDMA_CM netlink [3] to query in-use QP's and some details about > them. This has kernel support but user-space was never completed > integration into 'iptoure2' This is something that is handled in the kernel i.e. different.
