From: Bolarinwa Olayemi Saheed <refactormyself@xxxxxxxxx> On any failure pcie_capability_read_word() sets it's last parameter, *val to 0. If pci_config_read_word() fails the *val is reset to 0. Any function which check only for a frabricated ~0 which fail in this case. Include a check on the return value of pcie_capability_read_dword() to confirm success or failure.
