[PATCH 2 6/9] PCI hotplug: shpchp: use generic pci_configure_slot()

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

This patch changes shpchp_configure_device() to use the
generic pci_configure_slot() rather than the SHPC-specific
program_fw_provided_values().

Unlike the previous SHPC-specific code, pci_configure_slot()
programs PCI Express devices with Type 2 (PCI Express) settings
if provided by an _HPX method. (I don't know whether it even
makes sense to have a PCI Express device managed by an SHPC).
