mmc1: error -110 whilst initialising SDIO card

Hi,
I'm trying to bring up a Murata WL1271 wlan module that operates at 1.8v, connected to MMC2 controller of a custom beagleboard design, using a TI OMAP3503 processor.

During kernel boot, I get a kernel message saying:

mmc1: card claims to support voltages below the defined range. These will be ignored.

When I build the TI WiLink drivers from the ti rowboat hardware/ti/wlan project, after modifying the zoom2 SDIO driver files to correctly use MMC2, instead of MMC3, I get the following errors, while attempting to bring up the tiwlan0 interface:

[ 247.772399] mmc1: card claims to support voltages below the defined range. These will be ignored.
[ 250.135864] mmc1: error -110 whilst initialising SDIO card

How can I troubleshoot this issue?

Best regards,

Elvis Dowson
