It appears as if ARM_OMAP2PLUS_CPUFREQ is not being enabled by default, however CONFIG_ARM_TI_CPUFREQ is being enabled. Looking into the code a little bit, it seems like the latter is required for AM335x, AM437x, DRA7x, and AM57x platforms, however OMAP3 boards are not affected. Should OMAP3 boards be using ARM_OMAP2PLUS_CPUFREQ?
