Sorry for the noise. Now that you mention it, I searched for some official, not too out-of-date defconfig and applied this one: https://github.com/beagleboard/linux/blob/4.4/arch/arm/configs/bb.org_defconfig With dd7fd3a82ce5.. and your patches on top I still get that panic.
