Umm.. you should not be needing to patch upstream u-boot at all. we are
posting all support patches upstream anyways. best at this point, from
upstream kernel perspective is to stay on pure upstream u-boot master..
things should eventually settle down in upstream u-boot eventually, but
not yet.
