The Zoom2 platform is still under development and not out in the community yet.
Since TI wants to do showcase all s/w development that is happening internally, that’s the reason you are seeing the zoom2 support on the omapzoom git tree.

The zoom2 platform is much different from LDP/zoom1 and has many more features.
