I don't know the exact version, but samples should be available in April.

Actually 3430/3530 supports FATFS, so you can keep u-boot.bin as in the MMC/SD card. But on 2530 it reads only RAW. So you need to write u-boot.bin in particular sector. But u-boot can/will have FATFS support.

I haven't tried EXT2, as MMC boot support is available for FATFS only I didn't try the EXT2 in u-boot.
