Hi, I am a PhD student dealing with vocoders on OSK5912. I have a problem mentioned in web forum: http://lists.arm.linux.org.uk/lurker/message/20040317.173709.14ae238f.en.html That is: I am using Kernel 2.4.20 montavista linux. When the application try to read /dev/dsp in O_RDWR mode, it hangs. However, if open in O_RDONLY mode, it can read the file. Also I can record if I open /dev/dsp in O_WRONLY mode. If someone knows the solution and inform me, I will be very pleased.
