Hi postmaster, (davem ?),
I'm a regular on linux-nfs, and I noticed that the list appends its
footer
unencoded when a message has 'Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64'. Then,
when the messages are decoded in a mailer, the footer leaves a little
mess
behind.
Any chance this can be fixed? If you point me at any source code, I'd
be
happy to send a patch.
Better yet IMO would be to not add any footer at all, but maybe that
decision
can only be made by someone else..

Hi linux-nfs,
If mail sent to this list is Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64, and

always
decoded in my mailer for messages to the list which leaves a little
mess
behind. I expect this message itself to contain an example of this.
This annoys me. Do we really need to have that unsubscribe text
appended
to every message? I'm happy to take my nit-picky question of proper
list
behavior to the appropriate person if redirected.
