tg3 - disabling ASF

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,
It looks like there is no way to disable ASF in the the tg3 driver (as
of version 3.72). I saw a similar post from August 2006 in which someone
described the general process - writing some configuration bits to
NVRAM, but didn't describe the specifics.

Can someone tell me what needs to be done to disable ASF? Ideally, it
would be an ethool like utility so I can control ASF settings from
userspace.

TIA
